Team related questions

Who can be in my team?

The Warrumbungle Goose Chase has been created for youth and the families who live in the Warrumbungle Shire to have fun whilst we are living in ‘isolation’ and following distancing responsibilities. You can have all the members in your household OR you can have a friends team. Please note it will be easier to play if you are in the one location but if you are prepared to take on the challenge of connecting a team across households within the Warrumbungle Shire then go for it!

Is there an age limit on who can play the game?

No, there isn’t an age limit - it’s for young and old. We would love everyone at your place to be involved in the FUN!

How many members can I have in my team?

As many as are in your household. So no limit or minimum.

Do you have to be at the same place to play the game?

It is far easier if you are in the one household to play the game, to take photos and make the videos however this is also a way to connect with your friends who you are isolated from. Some of the activities might be tricky to do… but use your imagination and the technology you have access to, to be able to connect.

Can there be members in my team that live outside the Warrumbungle Shire?

This Goose Chase is essentially created for youth and the families who live in the Warrumbungle Shire. You may have a member of your family or a friend that you would like in your team so they feel included and supported in your team, that is okay to include them in. However your team captain, who registers and the majority of your team need to live within the Warrumbungle Shire.

Can someone play in two different teams across the game?

Preferably you are part of one team but there might be someone who wants to play with their family and also with their peer friends from school. As long as you play each mission with each of your team’s that’s fine. You won’t be able to put the same entry in for two teams so it will be double the fun. This game is about being connected and having FUN so go for it! On your mobile device you will only be able to be with one team.

Questions re playing the Game

How many mobile phones do we need to play?

No you don’t have to complete every mission. You pick and choose the missions as your team wants to play them.
