Goose Chase Gallery

The Warrumbungle Goose Chase  commenced in April 2020 during COVID19 Lockdown for youth, families & individuals across the Warrumbungle Shire initially planned for 3 weeks the goose chase was extended 3 times to eventually include the July school holidays to run for 15 weeks. 

The Warrumbungle Goose chasers made up of 46 active teams submitted an amazing 3208 missions.

Dark Sky Innovations were delighted to facilitate this Goose Chase on behalf of  the Warrumbungle Shire Council to provide FUN for all ages whether playing as an individual, as a family or group of friends.

This project is funded by the Warrumbungle Shire Council through two grants  - as part of NSW Youth Week funded by NSW Department of Community and Justice (Youth week ran officially ran from 1-9 April 2020 and the project was launched in NSW Youth Week) and  through the Drought Communities Programme Extension grants which is a Federal government Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications initiative for Council drought relief projects. As part of  a Youth Pathways program across Warrumbungle Shire to support young people with a variety of programs, events and support along with supporting local business.
