covid sanity goose chase
The DARK SKY INNOVATIONS COVID SANITY GOOSE CHASE is a FAMILY-FRIENDLY GAME that families and individuals can play from their home. Designed to suit all ages, the games can connect family and friends across different households / states of Australia while giving them fun activities to help them move through the limitations of the COVID restrictions.
The first GooseChase undertaken by Dark Sky Innovations was run for the Warrumbungle Shire Council and the feedback from the Goose Chase was fantastic. The most significant result was participant’s high increase in laughter throughout the 15 week game.
Laughter is the best medicine. The Warrumbungle Goose Chase was a great success, we had 68 teams and 292 participants register and received a great response overall with 3208 mission entries including awesome creative videos and snapshots that gave us all a good giggle.” Vivian said.
“The Goose Chase game brings together families, grandparents, grandchildren, carers and people of all abilities. It is really a great game of connection, and it has been fantastic to see the positive changes it has brought into people’s lives. We wanted to help bring that positive change to those still struggling with COVID restrictions.
We reached out to other rural and regional businesses to help those in restricted areas by offering sponsorship of prizes for various creative entries across the game. This means that there is no one overall winner but lots of winners. We received a very warm response with some lovely rural based small businesses who, just like us, wanted to support those unable to get out and about.
